Human Resources Specialist

Valneva is a pioneering vaccine enterprise dedicated to the development, production, and marketing of preventive vaccines targeting infectious diseases that fulfill significant medical needs.

Key ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a proactive HR Generalist who will be instrumental in enhancing the company's success by executing and managing human resources initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. In close collaboration with team leaders and our local and global HR teams, you will ensure that these initiatives align with the organization's goals and comply with all regulatory standards:
- Efficiently manage operational processes and uphold high-quality standards for the local HR department by overseeing the administration of contracts, agreements, policies, procedures, and HR-related programs.
- Offer guidance and support to team leaders and employees during transitional periods, working in conjunction with the local work council when necessary.
- Identify, develop, and implement localized HR initiatives in collaboration with the local and global HR teams.
- Oversee and evaluate HR programs and policies throughout the employee lifecycle, partnering closely with the Director of Human Resources.
- Assist HR department members in achieving strategic HR objectives, ensuring that each team member has timely access to essential information for effective and coordinated daily operations.
- Guarantee full compliance of HR processes with both internal and external legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience in a specialist or generalist capacity, ideally within an international and dynamic business context.
- Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal requirements applicable in Austria, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational and time management abilities, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Qualities: A genuine passion for people, culture, employee experience, and an efficient HR organization, coupled with a proactive, open-minded, and independent working style.
- Languages: Proficient in English and German (C1 level).

In compliance with legal requirements, we are obligated to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 55,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. However, our salaries are competitive and aligned with your qualifications and experience.
