Retail Store Operations Manager

Role Summary:

New Balance is a family-oriented sportswear brand seeking a high-performing Retail Store Manager to lead our European retail stores. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop with our growing brand, manage store operations, and engage consumers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive team performance and achieve individual and store targets
  • Lead by example on the shop floor and back of house, implementing company guidelines and policies
  • Manage the execution of the retail game changer and analyze store performance to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Deliver total customer satisfaction and boost sales through the customer experience
  • Co-ordinate rota and store scheduling, minimising losses and maintaining health and safety standards
  • Manage in-store HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Deal with customer enquiries and escalate complaints as required

Requirements for Success:

  • Team player with proven people management and leadership experience
  • Previous retail experience desirable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of loss prevention procedures
  • Ability to perform basic maths and general retail operational processes
  • Fluent in English and knowledge of the retail market/consumer trends
