About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rare Disease Lead to join our team in Austria. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in representing UCB in the communities we serve, striving to transform the lives of those living with Rare Diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent UCB in the communities we serve in Austria, building collaborative relationships with healthcare professional stakeholders.
  • Execute commercial strategies built on a solid scientific foundation, enabling access for all rare patients we can serve.
  • Masters brand messaging, targeting, and digital technology to deliver persuasive, high-impact customer experiences tailored to distinct user segments.
  • Decisively and proactively allocates time as well as budget to maximize awareness, change patient journeys for the better, and the appropriate use of UCB products.
Requirements
  • Scientific background preferred.
  • 5+ years of field-based experience in sales, account management, and/or field reimbursement in biopharmaceuticals within a competitive specialty market segment.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and local language (both writing and speaking).
  • Proven record of sustained high sales performance and achievement, developing thought leader relationships.
  • High levels of curiosity to understand 'the why' and timely execution towards serving rare disease patients.
  • External impact focused and solution-oriented agile team player.
