Kapsch TrafficCom, a pioneering Austrian technology company, is seeking an experienced Global Inventory Optimization Manager to spearhead our European operations. As a key member of our international team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive inventory strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.

About the Role:
  • Dive into our global inventory management processes and optimize them to reduce carrying costs and improve inventory turns while maintaining high service levels.
  • Collaborate with regional inventory managers to standardize processes and ensure compliance with local market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
  • Leverage your expertise to implement safety stock optimization, SKU rationalization, and demand-driven replenishment strategies to enhance our supply chain capabilities.
  • Pose as the primary point of contact for ERP and inventory-related functionalities and systems usage.
  • Support strategic planning by providing insights on global inventory levels and other relevant data.
  • Evaluate and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor global inventory performance.
  • Create dashboards and generate reports to provide stakeholders with actionable inventory insights.
  • Mentor and lead a team of inventory management professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with 5+ years' experience in supply chain and logistics or procurement roles.
  • Proven track record in inventory management, with a strong understanding of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and tools, as well as advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the company.
