About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Manager to join our P2X team at ANDRITZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating all engineering tasks within P2X projects, managing engineering processes, and scheduling engineering tasks and resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all engineering tasks within P2X projects
  • Manage engineering processes over the total project lifetime
  • Schedule engineering tasks and resources and align with the overall project plan
  • Clarify, discuss, and present technical solutions to customers
  • Be the first point of contact for customers and suppliers on technical design topics
  • Align required or requested modifications with internal product design experts
  • Take care of engineering tasks according to your background
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in a chemical, process, mechanical, or electrical engineering discipline
  • Minimum five years of experience as a lead engineer and/or project engineering manager, with experience as a project manager a plus
  • Proven experience in projects where piping or power electric engineering plays a relevant role, with chemical or process industry experience an advantage
  • General experience in leading teams is a must
  • Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies on technical design requirements
  • Ability to explain design solutions in an engaging manner
  • Experience in performing acceptance tests and supervising installation and commissioning during start-up
  • Strong communication, analytical, and planning skills
  • Solution/team/customer-oriented with the confidence to act proactively
  • Fluent in English, with another European language an advantage
  • Willingness to travel for at least 5 days per month
