We are seeking a highly driven and motivated marketing and people leader to join our team at Microsoft. As a Strategic Go-to-Market Manager, you will be responsible for providing business leadership for the Microsoft Security Business in the Austrian subsidiary.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business performance by partnering with areas to drive go-to-market for aligned solution plays, identifying growth opportunities in the market and building clear execution plans.
- Align, influence and coach field teams, sales operations, marketing plans, business rhythms and change management to convert strategic priorities into local execution.
- Partner across Microsoft core teams to bring the voice of the field and co-design strategy and programs.
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead and collaborate with GPS for local partner-led marketing strategies and demand generation that support solution play performance.
- Champion Microsoft strategy and solution areas and build industry presence.
Product Advocacy
- Advocate as the voice of the customer, partners and field to provide thought leadership on competitive landscape, solution area gaps, sales trends, etc. to drive improvements on the go-to-market plan.
- Grow organization capability to drive true insights, learnings and blockers for leaders, managers and sellers.
- Drive standardized rhythms and tools that drive increased customer and partner-facing time for sellers.
- Activate leaders and managers on investments and resource optimization, leveraging data and analysis.

Requirements
- Extensive marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
- Solid recent experience working with cloud security products and services. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity landscape and cybersecurity and data security fundamental concepts and models (e.g. Zero Trust, SASE).
- Extensive experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
