About the Role

We are seeking an experienced In-house PLM Principal Consultant to join our team at PALFINGER AG. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving our digital transformation and ensuring the successful implementation of our PLM system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and derive business requirements from stakeholders and align them with our organization's goals.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive IT system landscape, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Develop a PLM system implementation roadmap, engaging stakeholders and ensuring their commitment to the project.
  • Lead the implementation of PLM system pilots, proof-of-concepts, and other initiatives, while maintaining daily business operations.
  • Support the integration of new group entities into our PLM system landscape.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Engineering regarding the implementation of new software solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and levels, as well as external vendors and consultants.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in consulting, industrial, and/or academic environments, with a focus on product lifecycle management.
  • University degree in engineering.
  • Deep knowledge of the PLM software toolchain and experience with global rollouts.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into system integration concepts.
  • High degree of independence, initiative, and quality awareness.
  • Understanding of project and process management.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate cross-functionally and across all levels of the organization.
  • Openness to innovation, organizational transformation, and willingness to learn.
  • Readiness to travel up to 25%.
  • Excellent business English and German language skills.
