Position: Technical Sales Manager - Environmental Technologies (m/f/d)

Location: Linz

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities, manage tender processes, and prepare technical proposals for Environmental Technologies projects.
  • Formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and bid presentations for Environmental Technologies solutions.
  • Lead technical contract negotiations and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Conduct cost assessments and calculations.
  • Collaborate with various departments within VACE Engineering and regional companies involved in the global sales process.
  • Oversee bid projects that may involve multiple segments and regions.
  • Engage in close cooperation with technology and specialist departments at VACE Engineering.
  • Support project execution teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze customer tender documents to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Develop technical solutions in collaboration with other departments and regional entities.
  • Prepare and negotiate technical contract documents with clients.
  • Assist in commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Facilitate project handover to execution teams.
  • Provide ongoing support to execution teams, ensuring feedback loops to technical sales.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in acquiring and/or planning projects for plants and/or plant components.
  • A degree from a higher technical institute or university (e.g., HTL, technical university) is preferred.
  • Strong aptitude for working in global teams.
  • Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel for business (approximately 30%).
