Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician to join our team at MED-EL. As an Electronics Repair Specialist, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of our service equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough failure analysis and repairs on service equipment, ensuring precision and quality adherence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve detailed quality specifications, utilizing expertise in microscopy.
  • Assist in statistical data collection, failure analysis of consumable parts, and contribute to product improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in optimizing the repair process and ensure efficient spare part supply.

Requirements:

  • A completed HTL or technical education with a focus on electronics or electrical engineering.
  • Excellent fine motor skills, soldering knowledge, and practice are advantageous.
  • A high level of quality awareness is essential for this role.
  • Familiarity with MS-Office programs is necessary.
  • Proficiency in both German and English, spoken and written, is required.

Compensation:

The estimated minimum salary for this position is € 33,235.30 per annum, based on professional experience and Collective Bargaining Agreement requirements. This figure may be subject to adjustment depending on individual qualifications and experience.
