To ensure the successful delivery of projects (medium to large scale) in the process sector, we are seeking a seasoned project manager.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage your organizational abilities, communication skills, and assertiveness to propel projects forward. Alongside overall budget accountability, you will manage the project team, formulate project and timeline plans, and liaise with all stakeholders involved.
Your responsibilities include:
Overseeing the successful execution of medium to large-scale projects Establishing the project execution strategy to meet objectives Leading and guiding the entire project team Serving as the primary contact for the client’s project manager throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining ongoing communication Initiating cost, risk, and schedule management as well as overseeing project reporting Ensuring safety within the project, adhering to EHS requirements Guaranteeing compliance with company procedures, standards, and guidelines, as well as maintaining required quality in the project (QM & QC) Implementing and managing scope, change, and risk management at all project levels Coordinating workflow and internal communications to keep relevant stakeholders informed of project progress Negotiating with clients and partners (suppliers) and managing contract design/administration
Our requirements:
Completed technical studies focusing on process engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, plant, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent education Project management training or PM certification is a plus Several years of relevant experience in executing EPCM plant engineering projects in the process sector (biotech, pharmaceutical, chemical, or similar) Strong technical and economic understanding of project processes and interrelations Excellent communication and organizational capabilities Strong team orientation coupled with commitment, flexibility, and a hands-on approach High level of assertiveness and enjoyment in collaborating with diverse disciplines Proficient in English, knowledge of German is advantageous Willingness to travel (primarily within Europe)Our offer:
