Senior Manager of Waste Heat Recovery Projects (f/m/*)
Key Responsibilities:
Our division, I&S PM (Iron & Steelmaking Project Management), is dedicated to executing projects in the realm of Environmental Solutions.We deliver top-tier project management expertise, overseeing the entire project lifecycle from contract initiation to project completion, with a focus on maximizing profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The Environmental Solutions portfolio encompasses a comprehensive array of technologies and services aimed at reducing emissions from all iron and steel production processes, enhancing overall plant energy efficiency (including Waste Heat Recovery Systems), and providing optimal solutions for by-product recycling.
Given the increasing importance of sustainable environmental solutions, we are expanding our team with a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale and intricate Waste Heat Recovery initiatives.
Core Duties Include:
Assume full accountability for the successful execution of assigned projects. Manage projects within established financial, quality, and timeline parameters. Identify additional opportunities arising from ongoing projects, negotiating with stakeholders on change requests and integrating them into contracts. Assess and manage project risks by utilizing available risk assessment tools. Continuously monitor project status, promptly identifying discrepancies and initiating necessary mitigation measures. Collaborate with your team, setting targets and delegating defined responsibilities and authorities. Ensure adherence to applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines. Facilitate effective communication with all relevant stakeholders. Drive project closure, ensuring all pertinent information is documented and accessible for future projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of management experience in complex construction and plant development projects. Advanced understanding of engineering and technology related to waste heat recovery systems to comprehend technical implications. Proficient in project management methodologies and tools, with knowledge of contract law and regulations pertinent to project business. Experience working in international teams. Willingness to travel and participate in site delegations. Proficient in English and German. Interpersonal Skills: Proactive and solution-focused mindset. High level of integrity in interactions with others. Quality-oriented and structured approach to work. Strong leadership and communication capabilities. Distinctive conflict resolution skills. Cultural awareness and sensitivity.Additional Information:
The minimum annual gross salary for this position, in accordance with the collective agreement and assuming all qualifications are met, is EUR 58,788.80 (G/00). This amount may increase significantly based on qualifications and experience.
