Job DescriptionCFO Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Director to lead our Financial, IT, Legal, and Compliance activities globally. As a key member of our management team, you will contribute to the successful integration of SKIDATA into ASSA ABLOY and drive strategic development.

The role involves overseeing an international group with broad operational, strategic, and integration responsibilities. You will report to the CEO of SKIDATA Group and work closely with the VP Finance of Business Segment Pedestrian.

  • Lead and develop Financial, IT, Legal, and Compliance activities globally, together with a small central team and local finance managers.
  • Contribute to the successful integration of SKIDATA into ASSA ABLOY and drive strategic development.
  • Ensure highest standards in financial reporting and planning processes, following ASSA ABLOY Group guidelines and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Support integration into ASSA ABLOY by working closely with responsible teams and ensuring execution and transparent reporting of progress.
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • To ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, to the highest professional standards across the Skidata group.
  • To provide excellent business analysis on results and outlook for future financial performance.
  • To oversee and coordinate forecasts and budget for the group, following Entrance Systems Division reporting schedule.
  • To develop and implement finance, accounting, and internal control processes in line with ASSA ABLOY group rules and guidelines.
  • To manage administrative, financial, civil law, and fiscal issues, in compliance with procedures set out by the ASSA ABLOY group and International Accounting Standards.
RequirementsCandidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Finance Director with:

  • Extensive experience in a comparable financial leadership position in an international environment.
  • Thorough understanding of International and Group accounting principles.
  • Relevant experience in a Global organisation.
  • Professional degree in financial disciplines and MBA or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence at all levels of the business.
  • Solutions-oriented, pragmatic approach with commercial pragmatism and strategic thinking.

The position is based in Grödig/Salzburg, Austria.
