We have transformed the way brands engage with online travel consumers, positioning ourselves as a frontrunner in online advertising within the travel and e-commerce sectors. With an expanding product suite that offers a variety of advertising and sponsorship options, our Media Solutions team at Expedia has developed a robust marketing platform for partners to connect with the 131 million unique visitors who access Expedia Group sites each month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate, develop, and sustain a pipeline of potential clients to ensure the achievement of quarterly revenue objectives.
- Collaborate with partners to comprehend their business requirements and aspirations while crafting effective marketing strategies to fulfill those objectives.
- Formulate a sales strategy at the territory and market level to enhance the Expedia Media Solutions TravelAds business.
- Employ analytical skills to interpret performance data and trends, making proactive recommendations based on insights. Identify high return on investment opportunities and present them to clients.
- Actively educate partners on the product's features and functionalities, enabling them to utilize it independently.
- Oversee the daily performance of advertising partnerships and address any issues that arise.
- Drive continuous improvement in revenue contributions to Media Solutions through a consultative, partner-first sales methodology.
- Consistently meet or surpass quarterly revenue targets as established by sales leadership.
- Collaborate with other media sales professionals and client-facing teams across Expedia Group to achieve optimal results for both the company and its partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Media Sales, Travel Industry, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of sales experience in Media Sales or the travel sector.
- Proficiency in German and English; knowledge of French or another language is advantageous.
- Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and effectively presenting proposals to influence senior management.
- Experience in providing consultative sales support and fostering long-term client relationships, which may involve travel.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, managers, and other client-facing teams.
