Job Overview

The Human Resources Representative position at ABB is a key role in our Machine Automation Division, responsible for leading the front office team and ensuring seamless HR Operational Services.

As a subject matter expert, you will develop and implement strategic direction for HR Operational Services, working closely with the global management team to drive results.

Key responsibilities include technical and disciplinary management of the front office team, employee life cycle management, compensation and performance, payroll, working time, and absences management.

You will also work with customers and stakeholders to improve cooperation and performance, ensuring good working relationships within the team and with external customers.

Compliance with service level agreements, legal and data protection regulations, and ensuring the highest quality standards are also essential aspects of this role.

Qualifications
  • Completed commercial training (e.g., HAK, FH/Uni) ideally with a focus on human resources
  • Management experience an advantage
  • Knowledge of Austrian labor law (including social security, wage tax, working time, and rest laws) required
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Willingness to travel (10%)
  • Structured and organized way of working with a high affinity for digitalization and process optimization
  • Proactive team player with strong argumentation and persuasion skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in cross-functional teams

In order to comply with legal regulations, we refer to the minimum salary of the collective agreement of the electrical and electronics industry of €4,623.87 gross/month. There is a clear willingness to overpay, depending on qualifications and experience.
