Business Manager

We have a new and exciting opportunity available in our Central Queensland business for a Business Manager role.
The suitable candidate will be based out of our Rockhampton or Mackay office.
This senior leadership position is responsible for leading and managing the execution of the sales and operations plan in our Central Queensland business with approximately 35 headcount across Rockhampton, Mackay, Bundaberg, and Emerald.
The suitable candidate must feel comfortable regularly travelling to each of the branches within the Central Queensland region.

The role will nurture collaborative working relationships within the region and across the span of the organisation, cultivating and driving employee experience that aligns with the strategy.
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Business Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction for all functions within the region.
This includes working collaboratively to develop and implement the business, work plans & budgets through developing and maintaining rapport with key stakeholders by building relationships, exploring specific needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
Responsibilities: Set and deliver annual sales and customer service targetsDevelop strategic prioritiesManage initiatives to ensure ongoing business growthGrow the contract portfolio through the development of sales to new customersExpand and retain existing customersEnsure profitable operation of the business unit and achievement of targets and budget objectivesManage and deploy hundreds of technicians efficiently and effectively on a daily basisBuild new and maintain existing customer relationshipsAttract, develop, and retain an engaged and enabled teamQualifications or skills required: Demonstrated experience in a management role with challenging KPI'sA successful, sustained record of sales and/or operations managementProven leadership, communication, and motivational skills and techniquesProven ability to perform in a semi-autonomous roleHands-on management experienceComprehensive business acumen and financial literacyAbout Us: Rentokil Initial is an international business services company employing over 65,000 colleagues across more than 95 countries.
