Description Hoops Capital, the owner of The Sydney Kings and The Sydney Flames basketball teams, presents an exciting opportunity to join our elite sports organisation.
We are dedicated to delivering top-tier experiences for our fans and partners, and with that in mind, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Partnerships Manager to join the Commercial team within our business.

The primary focus of this role will be providing a first-class account management service to our sponsors and corporate partners.
Located in Sydney Olympic Park and reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a strategic role in the success of these partnerships, ensuring their satisfaction in our service is at the forefront of every interaction.

In executing your role to the standard required, you will embrace the following key responsibilities:
Account Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with key partners, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Client Briefs - Take and receive client briefs, translating them into actionable plans that align with our strategic goals.
Creative Input - Provide creative input for innovative sponsor activations and content production, ensuring they are engaging and effective.
Strategic Planning - Develop and implement partnership strategies that drive value for both the organisation and our partners.
Collaboration - Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless and impactful partnership experiences.
Performance Tracking - Monitor and report on the performance of partnership activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated capabilities and qualifications:
Proven experience in account management within the sports or related industry, or experience on the agency side performing a similar role.
A sound understanding of the client brief process, and the ability to translate for in-house servicing or agency briefing.
A creative mindset to provide input for media content production and other sponsor deliverables consistent with their engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
Strong organisational and event management skills.
A tertiary qualification in sports management, sports administration, media/comms or similar discipline would be highly regarded.
