In this role, you will lead a dedicated team, responsible for the coordination of agendas and minutes, statutory compliance responsibilities, civic functions, and other key City documentation including policy, local laws, etc.
We are looking for a person who: Can lead and effectively manage a small teamIs familiar with interpreting legislationHas sound research and analytical skills enabling interpretation of informationCan produce well-constructed and informative reports, pitched to a level appropriate for a busy local governmentHas strong computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite of products, intranet and web-based softwareHas well-developed time management and organisational skillsPrevious experience in Local Government is essential for this role, preferably in a governance or senior administration role.

Ability to understand relevant Acts and RegulationsDemonstrated ability to undertake research, problem solve complex issues, and develop clear and concise briefing notes and discussion papers with supporting recommendationsDemonstrated understanding of the Council decision-making process, agendas and minutesHighly developed skills in people managementAlong with a competitive gross annual salary of $103,919 to $110,654, you will also have access to:
