Your New Role As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the team to implement the Strategic Plan, driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence across all functions. Reporting directly to the business owners, you will oversee financial performance, team leadership, and expansion into new markets. This role requires a strong leader capable of balancing day-to-day operations with long-term strategic goals. Based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, you will also make regular visits to their other locations.

Role Requirements To excel in this role, you will need:

Leadership Experience: Proven success in leading teams and implementing strategic plans.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in trade services, electrical, construction, or similar industries.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, EBIT, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Operational Skills: Expertise in operational excellence, LEAN principles, and process improvement.
Business Development: Experience in growing markets, driving customer acquisition, and managing marketing strategies.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with systems such as AroFlo, Xero, CRM tools, and MS Excel.
Safety and Compliance: Strong understanding of risk management, safety protocols, and quality systems.
Key Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Minimum 5–7 years in a leadership role within a trade or service-based business.
Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and optimize financial performance.
Proven experience leading multi-site teams and geographically dispersed operations.
Practical understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems and LEAN principles.
Ability to work autonomously and align with a hands-off ownership structure.
Strong problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
