We are a leading provider of retail POS hardware and software solutions, dedicated to enhancing the retail experience through innovative technology.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead their Melbourne operations.
Role Summary:
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations in Melbourne.
This includes driving business development initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of professionals to achieve business goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, a deep understanding of operational processes, and excellent people management and soft skills.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all business processes.Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.Prepare and present regular reports on business performance, financial metrics, and operational activities.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the retail POS hardware and software industry.Strong background in business development with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.In-depth understanding of operational processes and best practices.Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.Proficiency in using business management software and tools.Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
