About the role: As a Sous Chef within our Kitchen, you will work closely with our Executive Chef, and take charge of our breakfast service across the Hotel in three outlets - Mode Kitchen & Bar, In-Room Dining and Lounge 32.
They say that Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it is certainly the busiest meal serving period in our high volume 531 room Hotel.
You will ensure that each dish served is presented immaculately and is of the highest quality, whilst assisting to control food cost, portion control and wastage.
What you bring: Master of your craft with previous experience at the same level, strong product knowledge and technical skills.Passion for creating superb food in order to provide a memorable guest dining experience.Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop your talented brigade of chefs.A keen interest and understanding of current kitchen trends and cuisines.Excellent communication & organisational skills.Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards.Working knowledge of stock management, quality control and ordering.The ability to work a rotating roster including weekends.What we offer: Competitive Salary, wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.Excellent Training and Development opportunities.Complimentary Accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resort.Complimentary Dry Cleaning for Employee Uniforms.Complimentary Employee Meals.If you fit the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your application
