Job Description:About the role:
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Living Support Manager to join our dynamic team at St Vincent's Care Services, Werribee.
St Vincent's Care Services Werribee is a contemporary boutique aged care facility, providing a high-quality haven of care within the centrally-located Wyndham Health Precinct. It is an 80 bed facility located 30km south-west of Melbourne's city centre.
In this role, you will report directly to the Facility Manager and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The role will showcase your unique ability to work collaboratively with the Care Managers whilst guiding the Living Support Team (Personal Care, Lifestyle and Hotel Services team) to ensure resident-centered care and daily preferences are maintained.
This role is ideal for an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse and Registered Nurse who is currently working in a senior role in an aged care setting and has an understanding of resident-directed care and is prepared to champion this.
To be successful in this role, you need to be passionate about promoting and leading the provision of resident-centered care which is sensitive to individual resident needs and preferences – care that is kind, compassionate, and embraces all aspects of individualised care and choice. You need to have strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills and the ability to be an influential role model, inspiring those around you to provide the best of care, care that is from the heart.
