KEY LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY
With 5 assets operational, 3 opening in 2025 and more beyond, this is a truly unique role in the BTR market.
We are looking for a passionate, driven and capable operator that can take ownership of the operational success of the business.
Setting a new standard in operational excellence, drawing from previous experiences will be fundamental to success in this role and assisting Essence's dominance in the market.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Essence Communities, your core responsibilities include the delivery of operational excellence ensuring Essence is the market leader; and ensuring assets are fully compliant and delivering exceptional people leadership for the Essence Communities Build to Rent (BTR) portfolio teams across Australia and New Zealand.
Your role will also involve:
Leading on all operational matters, supporting stabilised assets as well as new project mobilisations.
Fostering strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
Ability to build high performing teams through recruitment, onboarding, succession planning and ongoing training.
Champion the overall strategy and management of residential experience across BTR assets.
Strong financial acumen overseeing all property operations budgets.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE Depth of operational experience in any property sector, including Retail, Commercial, Hospitality, BTR and Student Accommodation.
History of delivering operational experience and a high level of operational expertise in a previous role.
Strong relationship and key stakeholder management.
Demonstrated leadership capability.
Passion for delivering excellence.
Ability to work across multiple projects and teams in various locations.
Excellent communication skills.
High level of problem solving, decision-making and accountability.
Full Real Estate Licence or Salespersons Certificate to conduct Real Estate business in a relevant State or Territory - desirable.
National Police Check (completed within last 3 months), at your own cost.
Unrestricted work rights in Australia and New Zealand.
Working with Vulnerable People Check.
