About the role: * The Administration Officer, Business Services, Regulatory Services is part of a team that plans, directs, coordinates and organises the administrative support functions of the Health Regulator branch.
The team is highly organised, with the ability to respond quickly to new challenges and priorities, they keep operations running smoothly.
* The Business Services team oversees, triages, and allocates all internal and external requests and enquiries ensuring timely and streamlined responses, corporate reporting, briefings and communications.
This team is the "front door" for the Health Regulator branch, managing all applications, enquiries, email inbox monitoring and has the capacity and flexibility to quickly react and support the compliance teams with emerging issues.

How you'll make a difference: * Providing administrative support to the team to carry out the following functions: * Inbox monitoring for the Health Regulator and responding to basic duty holder queries * Preparation of briefings and correspondence, answering standard queries and complaints, allocating and coordinating week ahead reporting, Cabinet and Parliament products, PAEC briefs, etc.
* Corporate reporting for the Health Regulator.
* Processing bookings/purchasing/invoicing and purchase orders for Health Regulator.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships and facilitate collaboration across the department and with key external stakeholders.
* Share your expertise with others to contribute to the capability across the team and broader department.
* Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to meet deadlines while working in pressured situations.
Respond flexibly and adapt approaches in order to deliver outcomes in the face of uncertainty.
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate: * Experience in working in and supporting fast-paced multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience in regulatory and public policy work as well as knowledge of relevant government legislation would be beneficial.
* A sound understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems would be beneficial.
