Macquarie University is recruiting for two new Enterprise and Employability Partners, to effectively support the design and delivery of programs to advance University wide Experiential Education initiatives.
Reporting to the Manager Enterprise and Employability, this position provides subject matter expertise and strategic guidance in Enterprise and Employability.
The Partner contributes to the design, optimisation, and enhancement of flagship programs such as the Global Leadership Program (GLP), Professional and Community Engagement (PACE), MQ Microcredentials, and MQ Student Employment (MQSE).
The role also entails rigorous co-ordination of compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to the Fair Work Act 2009, and navigating regulations set forth by TEQSA HESF, ESOS, and CRICOS standards.
The Partners manage relationships and provide support to academic staff across Faculties, including Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors.
About Us The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is the Chief Academic Officer of the University and is the member of the University Executive with overall responsibility for the planning, quality and delivery of education provided to Macquarie's undergraduate and graduate students.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) is responsible for the University's educational endeavour across all aspects of the educational lifecycle, including pathways and access, curriculum and educational capability development, educational outcomes and graduate success, as well as the Macquarie University College.
The PVCE provides leadership in the development and implementation of strategies and programs to support the University's education mission.

To Apply To be considered for this position, please apply online and attach your resume and a separate cover letter that outlines how you meet the selection criteria below: A tertiary qualification in a relevant area and/or equivalent relevant experience. Expertise and sustained experience delivering excellence in one of the following domains: Career and Leadership Development, Enterprise and Employability, Global Education and Exchange, Lifelong Learning or Work Integrated Learning, combined with strong understanding of the higher education context and evolving policy environment. Extensive track record of driving the design and optimisation of programs and initiatives in that specific domain, including optimising quality and efficiency through procedures, systems and processes. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to assess program effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop evidence-based recommendations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proven ability to liaise with and provide advice and support to academic staff, such as Deputy Deans Education and Employability, Associate Deans, Course Directors, and Unit Convenors. Proven ability to stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices within the field, and apply findings to program development and optimisation efforts.
