Organisational Change Lead

This Federal Government department plays an integral role for everyday Australians, by providing independent reviews of administrative decisions made under a wide range of Commonwealth laws.The department is undertaking a multi-year program delivering a new case management system that will change the design of how technology supports and enables the organisation's core service delivery.The Organisational Change Lead will be responsible for all business change and readiness planning, including the design and implementation of the change management approach.To be successful this role must be a leader and key influencer, building and maintaining relationships with senior leadership and business stakeholders, and be a trusted advisor to the Program teams (e.g., product managers, senior advisors (SMEs), architects, analysts, training, communications, technology teams, etc).Key Responsibilities:Lead, plan, direct and manage, in cross-functional, matrixed relationships, the CMS Program portfolio of change, ensuring that change activities and initiatives are aligned.Lead the development of key strategic plans, ensuring all change activities and communications align with the change and product adoption strategy and processes.Provide authoritative strategic advice in organisational change and product adoption, ensuring alignment with and leverage of change management frameworks and methodology.Own the end-to-end Change Management work effort, which includes leveraging best practices and techniques in identifying, quantifying and tracking the change process.Drive innovation and collaboration to improve products, service delivery and value/benefits realisation, including aligning change with Agile, Lean and DevOps methodologies.Drive, design and develop metrics for the measurement of change effectiveness and business readiness to gain insight and take corrective action.Manage expectations of all stakeholders including influencing product owners and key business stakeholders and internal customers, negotiation on competing priorities and operating under time constraints and defined requirements to achieve goals.Engage with program sponsors, business owners, product owners and stakeholders to manage relationships.Key Selection Criteria:Proven experience in developing change management, communication and release plans in collaboration with sponsors, users and project teams in an agile delivery environment.Providing leadership, advice and implementation support to assess organisational capabilities and to identify, prioritise and implement improvements.Experience in identifying metrics and mechanisms to measure benefits and plans to activate these mechanisms to monitor benefits against the business case.Strong experience in identifying the needs of stakeholder groups and translating communications and stakeholder strategies into specific activities and deliverables.Strong experience in supporting and guiding workgroups and teams to undertake collaborative problem solving.Experience in contributing to the development and maintenance of a catalogue of learning and development resources.What's on Offer:6-month Fixed Term Contract + 6-month extensionOpportunity to obtain a Baseline Clearance$160k - $200k incl.
