+ superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits Permanent full-time About the Role An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced and dynamic Nurse Unit Manager to lead the acute Cardiac Critical Care inpatient wing at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
As a Level 3 Nurse Unit Manager within the CALHN Heart & Lung Program – Cardiology Service, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and overseeing high-quality, patient-centred care.
This position offers the chance to lead a dedicated multidisciplinary team across emergency and elective cardiac services, including diagnostics, interventional and electrophysiology procedures, as well as pre- and post-operative care.
Your leadership will be central to fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement in delivering exceptional outcomes for cardiac patients.
In this leadership role, you will be accountable for ensuring alignment between clinical practice and policy while driving innovation and evidence-based care.
Your expertise will guide the professional development of nursing staff, enhance team performance, and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
This role is not only about managing day-to-day operations but also about influencing the future direction of cardiac care services.

About You You are an experienced and motivated nursing professional with strong leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality cardiac care.
Leadership Expertise: Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with experience managing teams and fostering staff potential.
Clinical Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-registration experience, with demonstrated competence in Cardiology nursing practice.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams while driving positive change and consumer engagement.
Commitment to Excellence: Strong knowledge of healthcare standards, safety protocols, and a dedication to continuous improvement in patient care.
