Key Responsibilities: • Food Preparation: Skillfully prepare and cook a variety of Italian dishes, ensuring each plate meets our high standards for quality and presentation.
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain strict food safety and hygiene practices in accordance with industry standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and a positive team atmosphere.
• Menu Development: Contribute creative ideas for menu items and daily specials, showcasing your culinary flair.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock ordering and inventory management to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
What We're Looking For: • Qualifications: Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is essential.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, ideally within an Italian restaurant setting.
• Culinary Skills: Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine and proficiency in cooking techniques.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling multiple tasks with ease.
• Team Spirit: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude are a must.
