We are seeking a talented individual to join our HONAN team at Marsh.
This role will be based in Sydney.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.As a Claims Executive at Marsh, you will be responsible for delivering superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage, and managing a portfolio of Strata claims.
You will play a crucial role in investigating, evaluating, and negotiating assigned cases while ensuring quality customer service.We will count on you to:Collaborate and Partner for Client Value: Establish and maintain strong relationships with claimants, repairers, assessors, and other stakeholders; identify suspicious claims and coordinate investigations; provide insights on claims activity to underwriters.Inspire with Operational Excellence: Interpret policy coverage, ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, respond to inquiries within service-level agreements, and maintain professional correspondence with stakeholders.Satisfy and Reach with New Technologies: Maintain knowledge of products and processes, attend relevant training, and contribute to process improvements.Share Knowledge through Data and Analytics: Provide timely updates to clients on claims progress, set reserves, negotiate settlements, and assist in preparing files for legal proceedings.What you need to have:Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and claims processesExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsStrong organizational skills and customer focusExceptional written and verbal communication skills with advanced attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines1-2 years of experience in insuranceExperience working within SLA timeframesTertiary legal qualifications are highly desirableWhat makes you stand out:Previous experience in Strata Insurance or similar fieldsProven track record of successful claims managementFamiliarity with insurance guidelines and court decisions impacting claimsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a teamWhy join our team:We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work, and supportive leaders.We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients, and communities.Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.About MarshMarsh, a business of Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC), is the world's top insurance broker and risk advisor.
