We are looking for an enthusiastic and team-focused Building Inspector to assist in the provision of a professional and reliable proactive building compliance program, ensuring they are implemented and completed, whilst other concurrent enforcement and compliance duties are undertaken and delivered in a cost-effective manner. Furthermore, the City of Whittlesea offers a Building Permit service where the role will provide support in undertaking mandatory inspections on a regular basis, where necessary to assist the permit team and the building permits inspector.About You:You are experienced in building control matters and will have the following experience and attributes:Registration with the VBA as a Building Inspector in the relevant categoryPrior experience as a Building Inspector in Local Government or the private building industryHighly developed research, analytical, oral, and written communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to providing a high level of customer serviceAn understanding of risk management principles and ability to implement these principlesIf this sounds like you, then you should definitely applyWant to Know More?For more information about this position please access a copy of the position description by clicking on the apply now button, or visit our website www.whittlesea.vic.gov.au.
