As a result of growth, they're currently seeking an experienced Sales Manager to help drive expansion of their ERP platform throughout the ANZ region.Reporting into the VP, this newly appointed Melbourne based Sales Manager position will be responsible for managing a team of Account Executives and Account Managers with emphasis on new business development. In this 'player coach' role, you will lead from the front to mentor, coach and develop the ANZ sales team; introduce new ideas and provide strategic input to increase revenue within existing and net new customers.To be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in managing and developing a new business focused sales team within the software/SaaS industryThis experience will ideally come from working at a recognised Edtech SaaS vendor. Alternatively, an ERP or financial software vendor profile will be considered if there has been a focus on the Education, Government or Healthcare verticalsExperience with high-volume outbound sales prospecting campaigns as well as medium to long sales cycles (3-12 months)Ability to understand customer requirements and identify potential solutions to fulfil customer requirementsExcellent communication skills and the ability to effectively mentor/coach and direct othersDemonstrated SaaS Software price modelling and pricing experienceSelf-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independentlyMaintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under pressure and with time constraints in a fast-paced team-oriented environmentHigh degree of analytical skillsTertiary qualification of advantageWhat you'll be doing:Provide strong sales leadership, vision, and direction whilst leading from the frontAchieve personal and team performance targetsSupport the team by participating and leading all aspects of the sales cycle, from sales planning to lead generation, cultivating prospects, demonstrations, prospect meetings, and engaging corporate resources as requiredWork closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to develop detailed sales plans, scripts, sales tools, targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive leads and opportunitiesWork closely with the Professional Services team to assist in the implementation and support processMentor and develop the sales team with tactical and strategic sales approachesRecruit new talent, on-board, and train new account repsIf this sounds like you, please forward a copy of your resume and cover letter to ******.
