Join one of the largest essential service providers in Australia and New Zealand.Split your time between the office and work from home.Full-time permanent part-time role (3 days per week) with a stable ASX listed organisation with considerable room for professional development.About the Role:As our Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you will report to our General Manager of People and Capability for our Defence and Social Infrastructure sector.
You will provide proactive and strategic P&C advice to deliver high performance outcomes for our business leaders supporting key P&C Projects.This position will work closely with a number of our business enabling functions including Commercial and Business Development, Energy Services, Pre-Contracts, Project Management, and Asset Management functions with a truly diverse range of stakeholders and workforce.You will be accountable for delivering a wide scope of P&C functions including employee relations, performance management, change management, workforce planning, engagement, training and development, coaching and career talent management as well as internal mobility and Diversity and inclusion initiatives.Based in Ventia's Melbourne office, this role will work permanent part-time 3 days per week.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Execute people plans that directly enable delivery of business strategic goals.Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders and ensure people objectives and outcomes are achieved.Support the resolution of ER issues, ensuring advice is timely, accurate and legally compliant.Talent and Organisational Design strategy to ensure the organisation has efficient structures in place to deliver.Change management, leading the design management and implementation of successful change initiatives.Industrial relations assisting the business and our leaders in negotiations to deliver strategic and commercially viable outcomes.Partner with our Talent Acquisition team to provide advice and support aligning budgets, headcounts and remuneration guidance.Workforce planning actively contributing to business initiatives to optimise efficiencies.Collaborate with internal functions including our employee relations, people services, advisory and payroll teams to ensure people matters are dealt with in line with company policy.Key Knowledge and Experience:Demonstrated experience in a similar role – as a Senior P&C Business Partner within a complex, geographically dispersed business environment.Previous experience in the OD space, providing solutions to operational challenges.Knowledge and application of change and talent management.Knowledge of relevant ER/IR legislation and understanding of Unionised environments.Excellent collaboration and communication skills – both verbal and written.About Ventia:Ventia is a leading infrastructure services company, operating across Australia and New Zealand.
