Senior Transport Engineer

With a strong ongoing portfolio for transport planning in Queensland, Arup is looking for an experienced transport engineer to contribute to the delivery of a variety of multi-disciplinary transport infrastructure planning projects.
The Opportunity Work within transport planning project teams to support project delivery through transport analysis, designs, and solutions for development and infrastructure projects.Support significant and complex projects, sometimes lead smaller projects, and contribute to multiple concurrent projects.Develop work programs, set budgets, manage deliverables, supervise staff, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.Represent Arup at internal and external meetings, providing timely and quality technical advice to clients.Support work winning activities, develop content for proposals and tender documents, and collaborate with other Arup disciplines.At Arup, you belong to an extraordinary collective – in which we encourage individuality to thrive.

Is this role right for you? Recognised tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as engineering, transport, town planning, mathematics, or economics.Minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience in Traffic Engineering or Transport Planning, preferably within a consulting business environment.Depth of knowledge of traffic engineering principles and experience with SIDRA Intersection or similar modelling packages.Excellent written communication and report writing skills, with the ability to craft a compelling narrative from technical analyses.Ability to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments, and excellent self-organisational and time management skills.What we offer you At Arup, we care about each member's success, so we can grow together.
