Transport Company Manager

UNITED SINGH TRANSPORT PTY LTDis seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Company Manager to oversee operations, logistics, and overall management of our transport services.
This role involves leadership and strategic decision-making to ensure the efficient delivery of transport services.
The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, manage a team, and ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality control, and financial performance.
Salary: AUD 75,000 - AUD 80,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operations of the transport business, ensuring the effective delivery of services.
Develop and implement business strategies to improve operational efficiency and growth.
Supervise staff, providing leadership and guidance to ensure high performance.
Monitor budgets and manage resources, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Prepare reports on financial performance, operational outcomes, and strategic goals.
Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience as a Transport Company Manager or in a similar managerial role within the transport/logistics industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Sound understanding of transport regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
Ability to manage budgets, financial records, and implement cost-saving measures.
Relevant qualifications in transport, logistics, or business management (preferred).
A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation may be required.
