Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeRocke Brothers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Manager to join our team based at Tottenham.
In this key leadership role, you will report directly to the State Manager and play a crucial part in driving the ongoing success of our operations.
We are looking for someone who can lead with expertise, improve efficiencies, and ensure smooth transport operations within the business.What you'll be doing:Promoting a safety-first culture ensuring commitment to safety, chain of responsibility and quality requirementsContributing to the growth plans of the business while continuing customer service improvements and initiativesDriving productivity and efficiency improvements within the transport operations including fleet utilisationManaging a large and diverse group of Drivers and Operations Staff including performance managementEnsuring that all customer/company KPIs are achieved and improvement plans are developed and implementedIdentifying operational issues, potential problems and opportunities for process improvementEnsuring compliance with all National Heavy Vehicle Law (NHVL), Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and all Fair Work related regulationsUndertaking any other responsibilities, consistent with skills, qualifications and experience, deemed necessary to meet the needs of the businessWhat we're looking for:Previous experience or a related leadership role within the transport industryProven record of leading teams and engaging a diverse workforce.Strong understanding of industry regulations, policies, and operational best practicesAbility to be flexible with changes and willingness to learn new systems and proceduresExcellent communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams and external stakeholdersExperience with various Transport Management Systems.Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Why Join Our Team?At Rocke Brothers, we value our employees and foster a collaborative work environment.
