Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Manager to join our dynamic logistics and supply chain team.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing our transportation operations, ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently and safely.
Your expertise will be essential in managing the daily operations of our fleet, optimizing routes, and coordinating with various departments to align transportation strategies with overall business objectives.
You will play a crucial role in monitoring and maintaining compliance with transport legislation and safety regulations, while also driving initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities Oversee and manage all transportation operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with company goals and customer satisfaction.Optimize routing and scheduling to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal transportation regulations and safety standards.Lead, mentor, and develop the transportation team, promoting a culture of safety and performance excellence.Analyze performance metrics and data to identify trends and implement improvements in operations.Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, inventory, and customer service, to ensure seamless transportation processes.Review fleet maintenance and replacement.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation and logistics management.Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, industry standards, and safety practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Proficient in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various stakeholders.If you are an enthusiastic person who meets the above criteria and are looking to take the next step into a rewarding career role with a highly professional organisation please Apply Now or alternatively forward your current CV in confidence to .
