National Account Manager About the Company The company offers an extensive selection of hardware and retail products. As a company, they are committed to innovation, value, quality, and providing a full range of work and lifestyle products.

About The Role Our Client is in a high-growth period which means the team is expanding and are looking for a National Account Manager to join their Sales department based at the dynamic and fast-paced office. This role will be managing all things sales in developing, preparing, and executing new product initiatives and major range reviews while working closely with the Product Development and Design teams. The National Account Manager is a customer-facing role with interaction and involvement with the largest customers at a strategic level. Industry experience is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities Reporting to National Business Manager your responsibilities will include:

Establishing and maintaining support for allocated major account customers Work closely with the Merchandise team to develop strategic partnerships with customers Assist in the preparation and execution of new product initiatives and major range reviews Ensure major account orders are processed to maximise warehouse efficiencies Support the customer by delivering an exceptional standard of customer service whilst seamlessly managing any issues that arise Maintain strong and cooperative internal relationships with other functional areas such as Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory, IT and Finance, to successfully coordinate and deliver sales strategies Organise Range Reviews, Promotional & Seasonal Product Programs, Sales & marketing events, Team and customer training Coordinate and submit all new product, promotional/new product allocations and help develop product information and selling aids to assist the Field Sales Team Help development and coordination of promotions, marketing initiatives and workshops including annual trade events and exhibitions Key Skills Account Management or National Sales experience required Detail-oriented Ability to prioritise workload and possess excellent organisational skills Ability to solve problems and provide excellent customer service It would be beneficial to have an understanding of the hardware, and DIY industries Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) The ability to work with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential Offer High growth company is seeking a full-time permanent candidate Dynamic office with enthusiastic and committed team members A competitive salary and bonus structure
