Event Sales Manager

If you're a team player who is excited to deliver meaningful guest experiences, we encourage you to explore your next career opportunity with Sheraton.Working closely with the Director of Sales, your role is responsible for securing weddings and catering functions by actively pursuing each opportunity through site inspections, sales calls, and client entertainment to ensure conversion.With a focus on building highly valued relationships with clients that enable achievement of the hotel's sales objectives, this role is a key contributor to the overall revenue goal and would suit a results-driven, dynamic individual.EXPERIENCE MORERespond to incoming enquiries of weddings, social events, charitable functions, formals, sporting lunches, conferences, and more.Identify, qualify, and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property's revenue goals.Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.Support Sheraton Grand Sydney's Service and Relationship Strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence through each customer experience.Our many benefits include:Highly lucrative performance-based, quarterly incentive.Global Sales Incentive trip for elite performers.Heavily discounted accommodation and food and beverage at Marriott International worldwide.About you:Permanent residency or unlimited working rights in Australia.Enthusiastic to escalate your career.Self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
