Marsh is seeking candidates for the following position based in Sydney CBDClaims ExecutiveWhat can you expect?Claims Executive is responsible for providing delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate assigned cases.
Proactively manage a portfolio of Strata claims ensuring that quality customer service is provided.What is in it for you?Leading training and development programBrand new agile workspaceHybrid workProfessional environment where your career path really matters and is supported in our global organizationExcellent career diversification opportunitiesGreat team environment with energetic and supportive colleaguesWe will count on you to:Collaborating and Partnering for Client Value:Establish and maintain good working client relationships with claimants, repairers, assessors and other external stakeholdersIdentifying suspicious or potentially fraudulent claims, notifying supervisor, and arranging investigationProviding information and feedback on claims activity and developing trends to underwriters/risk assessors to enable appropriate actions to be carried outInspiring with Operational Excellence:Interpret policy coverage and determine if coverage applies to claims submitted, escalating issues as neededEnsure compliance with relevant statutory guidelines and standardsRespond to all enquiries within Honan Service-level agreement (SLAs)Correspondence with internal and external stakeholders to be in an accurate, professional and courteous mannerMaintaining current knowledge of insurance guidelines, court decisions impacting claims functions, and policy changes and modifications and recommending changes to Honan policies and proceduresSatisfying and reaching with new technologies:Maintain product, system and process knowledgeAttend relevant product and skill courses and passing on relevant points to other staffContribute to the refinement of processes and procedures to improve systems and proceduresEducation and training of key clientsSharing Knowledge through Data and Analytics:Provide regular updates to clients on their claim and its progress in a timely and efficient matterSetting reserves and authorising payment within scope of authority, settling claims in the most cost-effective manner, and ensuring timely issuance of disbursementsRecognising need for negotiation and participating in planning strategy and negotiating within scope of authorityAssisting/preparing files for suit, trial or subrogation and submitting administrative reports as requiredWhat you need to have: Broad knowledge of insurance industry and claims processes.Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.Strong organisational / Strong customer focusExcellent written and verbal communication skills / Advanced attention to detail skillsAbility to juggle multiple tasks and keep within timeframes to meet customer needs and satisfaction.1 – 2 years' experience in insuranceExperience working to deadlines and within SLA timeframes.Tertiary legal qualifications highly desirableJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: From $60,000.00 per yearAbility to commute/relocate:Barangaroo NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Experience:claims: 1 year (Required)Work Authorisation:Australia (Required)#J-18808-Ljbffr
