We are a software vendor, seeking a Sales Lead for a hybrid role emphasising new business development while incorporating account management and administrative support.
This position is designed to actively drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new business opportunities, primarily selling our software and services into government sectors, while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
You will coordinate the activities of the sales team to ensure alignment with organisational goals and support operational efficiency.
The Sales Lead will be supported by the Senior Leadership Team.If you thrive in a dynamic environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities, then we want you on our team.
We are looking for someone with software vendor experience, willing to be hands-on, a can-do positive attitude who is not easily rattled.

Your successes will be acknowledged and rewarded.This position is remote-first, however requires flexibility to travel and visit customers, local, interstate and some overseas and work across time zones if required.The Role ResponsibilitiesSupport the sales team, coupled with performance tracking to monitor sales metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.Assist the CEO and GM of PS with planning and forecasting sales leads and opportunities.Manage administration staff and sales day-to-day administration tasks, including reporting and coordinating large customer proposals and tenders.Assist with HR functions, including performance reviews, training needs, and leave management.Participate in wider strategic initiatives and meetings as a key stakeholder from sales.Actively engage in sales activities, including prospecting, customer meetings, negotiating, and closing deals.Maintain client relationships with customers and assigned accounts, identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities.Collaborate with wider RSG teams, including product and professional services, to deliver outcomes.Oversee tender responses and proposals, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.Review and provide input on contracts to ensure they meet business objectives.Participate in company events, promotions, and roadshows to represent RSG and sales.Ensure accurate and timely input of data into CRM and internal tracking systems.Experience and SkillsOur preferred candidate demonstrates assertiveness and confidence, excels at problem-solving, has strong negotiation skills, skillfully multitasks, and is commercially aware, all while prioritising both completion of tasks and people interactions.Mandatory:Software Vendor Experience: Prior experience in selling software and services on the vendor side is mandatory.People Support and Team Leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a small sales team.Outcome Driven: Strong focus on achieving outcomes and exceeding targets.Proven Negotiator: Skilled in negotiation techniques to secure favourable terms and close deals.Adept in Prospecting: Experienced in identifying and developing new business opportunities.Problem Solver: Demonstrable analytical skills to assess challenges and find effective solutions.Organised and a Planner: Ability to execute and provide valued outcomes aligned with business objectives and deadlines.Independent & Team Player: Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively with all business teams.Experience with Contracts: Proficient in managing contracts, compliance, and regulation, especially in government.Market Awareness: Keeping abreast of industry trends and competitor analysis to assist with sales strategies.Other RequirementsRemote-First Policy: While we embrace a remote-first approach, this role requires flexibility for on-site client meetings, events, and travel, including overnight travel and adapting to various time zones.Flexibility: We offer flexibility in work arrangements to support a healthy work-life balance.Our Culture and PerksAt Resolve Software, our culture is reflected in everything we do.
