Job Description About Us: PSG is working with a leading firm in the construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the engineering or construction industry and will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting.
Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Support internal and external audits.
Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate project costing and financial reporting.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Qualifications: CPA/ CA or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with a focus on engineering or construction.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in MYOB and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
