Indie College is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that delivers nationally recognised training.
Indie College supports young people and adults to re-engage back into education who may have disengaged or are impacted by a variety of personal or health circumstances.
We explore individual goals related to pathways back into school, employment or further accredited training, whilst assisting the development of Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills and building confidence.
Indie courses are delivered in either one-on-one, small or large group settings.
Indie College Victoria is seeking a full time Regional Manager (Vocational Education) to oversee our Ballarat, Mildura and Bendigo sites, and support the delivery of our alternative Education Programs in North Western Victoria.
Regional Managers must hold a current Australian Driver's License and hold current qualifications equal to or above the qualification being delivered or be willing to obtain these qualifications, as well as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) including LLN units.
Core Workplace Objectives Ensure continued compliance against standard operating procedures.Manage, support and train staff within location/s.Build and maintain key stakeholder networks and relationships.Workplace Tasking & Key Responsibilities Oversee the operations of the allocated off-site locations.Oversee compliance against standard operating procedures across all areas.Investigate market and recruit for approval of new locations.Provide monthly Board of Director Reports to Executive Management.Provide solutions and implement efficiencies.Contribute towards Indie Education's strategic objectives.Set up new locations (when requested) and establish relationships with local networks.Monitor location budgets including monitoring student numbers and staff ratios against allocated contract numbers.Ensure rectification of internal audit reports.Promote a positive team culture and learning environment for students that aligns with company vision, mission and values.Manage performance and resolve conflict.For this position with our company, applicants must: Be willing to undertake regular travel – including interstate locations.Have experience in vocational education and training along with previous management experience.Demonstrate experience in vocational education and training including a working knowledge of Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) and National Vet Regulator (NVR) Standards.Ability to develop, plan, implement and manage multiple projects.Have strong interpersonal skills.Have the ability to work as part of a strong team.Be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.Have experience and/or demonstrated ability in working with youth.Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Have strong written and oral communication skills.For this position with our company, applicants must be willing and able to provide: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Annual National Police Checks.Working with Children's Check.Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or upgrade (if required).Benefits of Indie: Attractive PBI Salary packaging is on offer through Maxxia.Uniform provided.Annual paid professional development and training with support and sufficient study time during work hours provided.15 days paid personal leave.Paid parental leave provisions.Company laptop and mobile phone provided.Access to an Employee Assistant Program.Locations all around Australia.Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 8.30 am to 4.36 pm.Christmas Closure period (Dec/Jan, 10 A/L days).Remuneration: A Discretionary Motor vehicle is offered with this position.A company phone and laptop is provided with this position.Attractive PBI Salary packaging is on offer through Maxxia.To apply, please submit a current Resume along with a cover letter.
