This business has a vibrant workplace culture and provides a thriving collegiate feel to the office and the relationships that you will build internallyDue to some internal movements, an opportunity has arisen for a Category Manager to come in and drive strategic procurement initiatives across a wide range of Indirect categories and a spend of circa $200mill+.ROLEAs the Category Manager, your primary role will be to strategically manage a portfolio of Indirect categories including Professional Services, Financial Services, HR Services, Legal Services, and anything else which is non-IT.You will be engaging with the whole business, with a focus on building strong, collaborative relationships in order to deliver on the core business strategies.As the Category Manager, you will:Develop and deliver robust category strategies to ensure the delivery of Value, Delivery, and Risk Management.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring the business is getting the best service and value.Run sourcing events for key products and services when required.Build strong internal relationships, in particular with the Marketing business units to help build long-term improvements to ways of working.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEThe right person for this organisation will be someone who wants to join an organisation with a fun but driven environment.
