Due to some internal movements, an opportunity has arisen for a Category Manager to come in and drive strategic procurement initiatives across a wide range of Indirect categories and a spend of circa $200mill+.
ROLE
As the Category Manager, your primary role will be to strategically manage a portfolio of Indirect categories including Professional Services, Financial Services, HR Services, Legal Services, and anything else which is non-IT.
You will be engaging with the whole business, with a focus on building strong, collaborative relationships in order to deliver on the core business strategies.
As the Category Manager, you will:
Develop and deliver robust category strategies to ensure the delivery of Value, Delivery, and Risk Management.Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, ensuring the business is getting the best service and value.Run sourcing events for key products and services when required.Build strong internal relationships, in particular with the Marketing business units to help build long-term improvements to ways of working.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
The right person for this organisation will be someone who wants to join an organisation with a fun but driven environment. This organisation thrives when everyone is pulling towards the same goal and willing to get engaged with the business to deliver as a team
5+ years experience in a category management role focused on General Indirect categories.Preferably strong in Professional and Corporate Services.Strong communication and relationship management skills.GET IN TOUCH
