Product Management & Development (Marketing & Communications) Full time At Harvest Moon, we grow crops like no other. About the role You will have commercial responsibility for managing our snacking vegetables and radish product categories ensuring revenue, expense, and gross margin target levels are achieved. This is a senior position in our Commercial Business Area, reporting to our Chief Operating Officer (COO). You will partner with our COO and Senior Managers across the business to develop strategies to grow and strengthen your category markets, ensuring their long-term sustainability.
As our manager of these product categories, you will directly oversee and influence critical daily inputs and activities relating to your product categories, from strategic planning to stakeholder management.
About you You will be a commercially astute professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrated success preferably in the fresh produce industry. With a passion for the industry & driving revenue growth, you will possess the following skills, experience & qualifications:
Proven experience as a Category Manager or other Senior Sales positions with accountability for a diverse product portfolio and budget of at least $2 million.Exemplary communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey key business information to internal & external stakeholders.Great interpersonal and organisational skills with an ability to manage your time effectively and handle internal and external conflict.Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse complex data sets and make recommendations for overall business sustainability.Ability to recognise business urgency, manage priorities and deliver in an agile working environment.Advanced proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite – particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.Demonstrated competency and professional experience in developing & implementing profitable sales strategies in the fresh produce or food industry sectors.Current applicable state drivers' licence (with no restrictions).A tertiary qualification in Business Administration/Marketing or related field.What we offer Attractive salary package with full use company motor vehicle.Opportunity to travel interstate and internationally and take the brand to the next level.This position can be based either in Tasmania (Forth) or Victoria (Werribee).How to apply To apply for this position, please attach your resume with a succinct cover letter (one page) outlining your skills and experience and why you are interested in the role.
