Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major mixed-use development project in Sydney, which will deliver large residential assets, commercial and retail space across a well located precinct land parcel.
This exciting and challenging project is one of the largest and most high-profile  developments in the city, set in a dynamic and fast-evolving urban environment.
Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from early planning and design through to final delivery, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and timely process.
Problem Solving: Proactively address challenges and resolve issues as they arise, never allowing unresolved issues to persist.
Strong problem-solving mindset required.
ECI Management: Manage the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase to ensure the open-book tender process is executed flawlessly, keeping the builder accountable for the accuracy of scope and quotes.
Programme & Schedule Management: Monitor and manage the project programme closely, identifying and addressing potential delays before they impact project timelines.
RFI Resolution: Work with the team to manage and resolve RFIs during the construction phase, ensuring smooth project progression.
Team Leadership: Lead and collaborate with a dedicated team of  professionals, working within a flat structure that encourages a dynamic, nimble, and collaborative culture.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
Ideal Candidate: Experience: 8+ years in project management within the construction industry, preferably with a strong background in mixed-use or large-scale residential projects.
Head Contractor Experience: Previous experience managing projects from a head contractor perspective is highly desirable.
ECI Experience: Familiarity with the Early Contractor Involvement process and managing open-book tendering is preferred.
Problem Solver: Exceptional ability to address and resolve complex issues, with a relentless focus on detail.
Strong Programme Management: Proven track record of managing and driving complex projects within tight deadlines and budgets.
Work Ethic & Diligence: A focused, diligent, and methodical approach to reviewing reports and managing the finer details.
Authority & Influence: Strong leadership and authority experience, with the ability to manage contractors and stakeholders effectively, ensuring the project stays on track.
