Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Whyalla RN/M2C | Full Time | Ongoing Base Salary Range: $84,870 - $107,279 p.a In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Service:
Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit (Whyalla)
Whyalla Hospital is one of three SA regional hospitals that has an Integrated Mental Health Inpatient Unit (IMHIU).
The IMHIU features six single bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a comfortably furnished dining and lounge area, making the environment as welcoming and home-like as possible.
The service includes a full-time psychiatrist, which brings benefits to all mental health consumers in the region.
About the Role:
Join as a Registered Nurse and contribute to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services within our diverse Local Health Network.
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting consumers across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches to enhance individual and family well-being.
Grow your skills through continuous professional development and hands-on experience, evolving from a novice practitioner to a proficient leader in nursing care.
Embrace accountability and make a meaningful impact on the health and recovery of our local community.
About You:
Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
Be enrolled and/or willing to enrol in further postgraduate studies within Mental Health practice.
Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
Experience working with Aboriginal consumers.
Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
