About the company/role: Our food manufacturing client based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane is seeking a Technical Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. As the Technical Manager, you will lead the technical team to adhere to and always enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and process parameters to ensure safe and quality products are manufactured.
This role will be heavily involved in internal and external audits, so experience working with auditors is desirable.
Duties: Ensure food safety compliance in line with consumer expectationsProvide leadership to the technical teamLiase with key stakeholders, contractors, customers, and third-party auditorsSupport the New Product Development teamProvide technical assistance to other areas of the business as requiredContinuous improvement – suggest and implement safety, product, and process improvementsSkills/experience: Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or equivalentMinimum of 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing environment desirableKnowledge of GMP, HACCP, and customer standards is an advantageAttention to detail and food organizational skillsApply If you think this could be the role for you, then please apply now
