With great dining options, restaurant and bars, 9 conference rooms, 318 guest rooms and 24-hour reception and in-room dining for our leisure and business travellers.About the RoleRydges Sydney Airport is seeking a motivated and passionate Permanent Full Time Finance & Business Support Manager to join our dynamic and professional team.Skills & ExperienceAbsolute operational finance focus with constant liaison and business support provided to the General Manager and Department Managers;Maintain and implement hotel internal controls systems;Comply with company financial policies, procedures and reporting requirements, monitor and control all revenue, expenses and working capital within the framework of the agreed budget;Participate in financial planning and analysis activities of the hotel, such as budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis including daily and monthly management statistics;Promote operational efficiency and encourage adherence to prescribed managerial policies;Profit & Loss reporting, General Ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, preparations and submission of reporting packages;Adhere to all payroll controls, wages and salaries disbursement procedure including compliance with the various award provisions applicable, visa restrictions of staff and tax legislation;Develop and cross-train all accounting staff for career advancement.About YouPrevious experience in a similar role (3+ years Hotel Accounting experience)Knowledge of Opera PMS and/or Sun System will be highly regardedAbility to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesA passion for numbers & reportingExcellent communication and time management skillsYou work well in a fast-paced environmentUnlimited working rights - no visa restrictionsIf you fit the bill and have the desire to join a dedicated team, please forward your application (covering letter and CV) to ****** (NB: only shortlisted candidates will be contacted)
