Due to a strategic change in direction, this business is about to enter a long-term growth phase that will create opportunities that are both highly commercial and appealing to career-minded finance professionals.About YOUR new job:Reporting to the Group Controller, the core overview of this position is to provide in-depth analysis and commercial acumen to senior management whilst supporting key areas of the business.The tasks assigned to this position include: Review and analyse financial results to provide insight into operational performance and trading conditions.Produce the monthly management accounts for review at the corporate level (P&L, Balance Sheet & Cashflow).Take ownership of the Budgeting & Forecast process and critically analyse to recommend required changes.Lead key department heads with any planning-related activity at site level.Provide detailed analysis and commentary to senior management.Lead a BI upgrade.About YOUThe successful applicant will be familiar with this profile:- Ideally will have been part of a group finance function leading an FP&A team.- Will hold a widely recognised Professional Accounting qualification.- Can demonstrate knowledge of core accounting skills originally learned within a financial accounting role prior to moving into FP&A.- Will have sound system skills and advanced Business Intelligence experience.- Inter-personally, you will see your strengths as your ability to work with people at varying levels within the business and thrive to add value in all that you undertake.
