The Role: Senior Development Manager
As a Senior Development Manager, you'll take charge of planning and delivering new developments and value-add projects, ensuring they align with Levande's high standards and customer-focused approach.
With your expertise in design and construction, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams and play a pivotal role in growing our operations.
Leadership and mentoring will be integral as you help define team structures and develop the skills of less experienced colleagues.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare and manage feasibility studies, budgets, cashflows, and project timelines.
Lead the design, statutory approvals, construction, and completion phases of projects.
Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain alignment with development objectives.
Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring support for the project vision.
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture, mentoring junior team members to elevate their capabilities.
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience in property development, with expertise in design and construction.
Residential or retirement living experience is highly valued.
A solid background in project feasibility, cost control, and risk management.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a customer-first approach.
Experience in construction or customer-facing roles, with an understanding of our residents' needs.
A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
